Learn to Knit Socks

If you have always wanted to knit socks but have felt intimidated at the thought, then this class is for you! String Theory is excited to welcome designer Deb Gemmell (of Cabin Fever fame) to our knitting community.  As a highly experienced knitting instructor, Deb will be guiding participants using her own basic sock pattern and a worsted weight yarn for a quick finished result.

• Materials Needed: 
• 1 skein of Estelle worsted
• 1 set of 3.75mm DPN's (double pointed needles) OR 3.75mm circular needle with a 32" (or longer) cable.
  • (or size of needle to meet gauge) 
  • 10% discount offered on yarn purchased at String Theory for class use

Deb Gemmell was co-owner of Cabin Fever with her sister Lyn for 23 years. We designed and published No-Sew patterns and many Multi-Gauge books in the “Need A …” series where you can use any yarns from your stash or your local yarn store, available on Ravelry.

Now, under the name Debgemmellmods, I write patterns and teach classes for Any Gauge so you can dive into your stash, pick your favourite colour and get started. Knitting Freedom!
