June 20 - Mosaic Magic: Mosaic Knitting Studio

Curious about colourwork but not quite ready for stranded knitting? Mosaic knitting is the perfect place to start.

In this full-day Fibre Studio, you'll learn how to create beautiful geometric colourwork patterns using only one colour per row. It looks intricate and impressive—but it's surprisingly approachable and incredibly satisfying.

Prerequisite Skills:

Participants should be comfortable with:

• Casting on and binding off
• Knit and purl stitches
• Knitting independently without instruction
• Following a basic knitting pattern

This is not a beginner knitting class.

We'll cover:

• Reading mosaic charts
• Slip stitch techniques
• Managing tension
• Creating crisp colour transitions
• Tips for successful finishing

This session is ideal for knitters who are comfortable with knit and purl and are ready to build their colourwork confidence.

Minimum enrolment: A minimum of 6 participants is required for this session to run. If the minimum enrolment is not met, the session will be cancelled and a full refund will be provided.
