July 18 - Design Your Own: Colourwork Headband Studio

This is your opportunity to become the designer.

Using a doodle deck, graph paper, and guided instruction, you'll create your own custom stranded colourwork headband design from concept to cast on.

Prerequisite Skills:

Participants should be comfortable with:

• Knitting in the round
• Reading knitting patterns
• Basic stranded colourwork techniques

This workshop builds on existing colourwork skills and is not intended as a first introduction to colourwork.

We'll cover:

• Creating motifs using a doodle deck
• Charting your own colourwork design
• Planning repeats and scale
• Colour placement strategies
• Casting on your custom headband

Includes:

• Yarn kit
• Design worksheets
• Graph paper
• Light luncheon
• Coffee & tea

Supplies Required:

• Knitting needles suitable for the project

Minimum enrolment: A minimum of 6 participants is required for this session to run. If the minimum enrolment is not met, the session will be cancelled and a full refund will be provided.
