Learn to Knit – Level 2

This course is a natural progression from the Learn to Knit Level 1 class but is open to anyone who has already learned all of the basic skills. In this Level 2 course we will learn to knit in the round, follow a pattern, use DPN's, correct mistakes and construct a simple garment by making a baby hat and sweater.  These techniques can then be easily applied to adult sized projects!

• 2 hour sessions
  • Thursday April 10, 17, 24, May 1, 8, 15
  • 6pm - 8pm
• Cost - $130 – tools and yarn extra (10% discount will be provided for yarn purchased at String Theory for classes)
• Materials required -
  • 2 100g balls of worsted weight yarn,
  • US #6 / 4mm & US #8 / 5mm
    (or as required to meet gauge)
    16" circulars, 24” circulars or 32" if prefer instead of DPN's
    and DPNs in each size*
• Prerequisite skills: Learn to Knit Level 1 or can Cast on, knit, purl, bind off, basic increase and decrease
