Youth Sewing & Quilting Classes (Ages 11-15)
This four-class session introduces young makers to the fundamentals of sewing and quilting, with a focus on improvisational and modern quilting techniques.
Designed for beginners and those looking to build their skills, this class provides a supportive environment where participants will create a finished project from start to finish.
What They'll Learn:
- Measuring and cutting fabric accurately
- Hand and machine sewing techniques
- How to follow patterns and instructions
- Proper use of sewing tools
- Understanding different fabric types and their properties Each student will start, progress upon, and complete a project within the four-class session.
- No prior experience is required—just a willingness to learn and create!
Class Details:
- 4 weekly 1.5hr sessions
- Sunday April 13, 27, May 4, 11 (there will not be a session on Easter Sunday April 20th)
- Ages: 11-15
