Learn to Knit Level 1 (Feb Daytime)

Learn to Knit  – Welcome to the fabulous world of knitting in this course designed for complete beginners.  In this friendly and fun atmosphere, you will learn the basic techniques: making a slip knot; cast on; knit stitch; purl stitch; increasing and decreasing; and bind off. Participants will also learn: different yarn sizes and fibres; how to choose an appropriate yarn for a project; how to read a yarn label; and an introduction to pattern reading.

  • Wednesday Afternoons - Feb 5, 12, 19, 29, Mar 5
    1:30pm - 3:30pm
• Cost - $110 – includes all tools and materials needed for class

• Prerequisite skills: None - Level 0 - suitable for participants with no previous experience
