Basket Weaving

Learn how to twine a basket and prepare plant materials for weaving. We will start with preparing the foraged materials, and how to make cordage. The second week will be making a flat coaster and the third week will be making a small basket, which will include shaping the sides and finishing off the brim.
All supplies will be provided.
Students need to bring a small basin, tea towel, scissors and a darning needle.
There will be a handout on plants that will work for baskets for future reference.
