Lady Slipper alpaca yarn is a wonderfully silky fibre to crochet with. Even though it is soft to the touch, this yarn still provides good stitch definition and easy blocking. Locally sourced, milled and dyed in the rich rosey colours of Wendy's own peonies, all these skeins together have enough yardage for a light and airy spectrum shawl. The small amount of wool blended into the fibre provides the density and structure to allow the soft alpaca component to drape around the neck and shoulders without losing its shape over time.
